A fenced field with one gate, one line painted on the ground, and one resident who has never once stopped talking about the line.

The Paddock is where Kwonkey stands. It is not large. It does not need to be, because the entire operation fits inside the distance between the peg and the microphone. Visitors are shown the fence, told it is load-bearing, and asked to admire the craftsmanship of a fence that has never been tested by anything heavier than the claim itself.

Nothing else lives here yet. That is not a metaphor being saved for later — it is the current, literal population count of the Paddock, and it is printed as such in the token status board on the landing page.

Glossary

The Peg: A dashed line on the ground. See block 01 of the landing page. Structurally identical to a promise.
Ears down: The one indicator on the animal that has never once been wrong. Widely ignored in favour of the microphone.
Still: A word used to mean "again," while sounding like it means "unchanged."
The Herd: Currently empty. See block 06 of the landing page. Will be updated here the day it is not.
Bray 001: The file designation on the hero image. There is no Bray 002 yet, on account of nothing having happened since.

Dossier: Kwonkey

A cartoon donkey with a man's head, invented for this brand and for no other purpose.

Kwonkey is a parody character: a donkey body, a shouting human head, and a pair of ears that settled the question long before the mouth did. He is not a portrait, a statement of fact, or a claim about any real person's conduct. He exists to carry the joke described on the landing page — that volume and confidence are not evidence — and nothing he "says" on this site should be attributed to anyone outside the Paddock.
